What we collect, why, and what you can do about it. This policy is written to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how Laaganan Skybar & Restaurant ("we," "us") handles personal information collected through laaganan.com. We are based at Rubenian National Highway, Brgy. Geotina, Basilisa (Rizal), 8413 Dinagat Islands, Philippines, and can be reached at laagananskybar@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you give us directly through the Reserve a Table and Plan an Event forms on this site:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your preferred date and, for events, guest count
- Any special requests or details you choose to add
We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this website, and we do not collect your location, browsing history, or device information.
3. Why we collect it
Solely to process your reservation or event inquiry and to contact you to confirm it — by Messenger, phone call, or SMS. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.
4. How your information reaches us
Form submissions are delivered to our booking email through Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service. Web3Forms processes the submission only to route it to us and does not use your data for its own purposes. You can read their policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
5. Where it's stored
Confirmed reservation and event details are kept in our booking log and email inbox so we can prepare for your visit. We keep this information only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose, generally no more than 12 months after your visit or event date, unless you have an ongoing relationship with us (repeat events, for example).
6. Who can see it
Only Laaganan staff involved in confirming reservations and events. We do not share your information with any outside company for marketing or advertising purposes.
7. Your rights under RA 10173
As a data subject under Philippine law, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason
- Withdraw consent for us to contact you
- File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data has been mishandled

8. Children
This site is not directed at children, and our forms are meant to be filled out by an adult booking on behalf of their party.
9. Changes to this policy
If how we handle your data changes — for example, if we add analytics or a new booking tool in the future — we will update this page and note the new "last updated" date above.
